   The Compagnie Interprofessionnelle de Distribution (CID), a wine merchant company was created by various members of the Bordeaux wining community.

 
By creating this company, producers together with a traditional wine merchant company thus put their experience and knowledge of the market to the benefit of a shared business project.
This company's goal is to answer the wine market's latest needs: ensure the
very best "wine distribution" on the French and foreign commercial
circuits, through product selection to consumer presentation.
This ambitious mission is possible today thanks to the very privileged
relationships set up by CID's different partners with production and
distribution members.

This high quality relationship network has allowed CID to elaborate the following commercial strategy :

1. PRODUCT OFFER
CID intervenes on a two-level basis with its customers or future customers :
a) Presentation of a choice of Bordeaux AOC and wines from the South of France made up from a selection of steady products.

b) Permanent lookout for high quality products with respect to precise customer demands (AOC, quality, price range, packaging...)


This commercial strategy is backed up by the flexible, highly
well-organised company located in the prestigious " HOSPICES DE LA
MADELEINE" building in Saint-Emilion.

2. DISTRIBUTION NETWORK
France : Setting up of a sales network run by CID salesmen and backed up by knowledgeable professionals and advisors.

Export : International implantation with national and regional importers run by CID Export salesmen.
